I wouldn't **** on that guy if he was on fire. Yep, they need to move fast to have such a clown removed from office. It seem like a pretty clear violation of his oath of office in either case.

Technically, he's correct.

[Wait for it]
Article 1, Section 10, USCON:
No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation;grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
Every duly enumerated American is involved with a contract that sidesteps the USCON.

There is no law compelling all Americans to enroll into Socialist InSecurity. There is no law punishing any American who does not participate.
It is 100% voluntary - voluntary servitude.
Therefore, Congress can impose whatever conditions it deems necessary upon the millions of "Human Resources", without regard for the limitations in the USCON or the State CONs.

Why?
Because the people gave their consent...

Of course, millions fervently believe that there is a law that obligates them. But there is no law. And the government likes it that way. You can't hold them liable, and you have no recourse. He who consents cannot complain.

How many lives were given to preserve that document about which he freely admits to not care?

The only thing left for Phil Hare to do is resign his seat.

All one has to do is look at the HC vote to know the Constitution doesn't matter to most of them.

The Constitution of the United States

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

But Hare spokesperson Tim Schlittner tells WGIL not only doesn't the headline tell all of what Hare said, it was taken out of context.

"When it comes to this health care bill, (Hare)'s not worried whether it will be ruled unconstitutional," Schlittner said. "He does not believe it is. Some of the nation's most prominent lawyers have said it will be upheld by the Constitution."

Just standard campaign fighting. The other guy pounced on this and distorted it... what else is new.
