This Criminal Fraud Government is out..of...control.

"The penalty for failing to answer questions is $100. The penalty for providing false information is $500. However, nobody has ever been fined for this. Interesting fact: Census data was used to round up and send thousands of Americans of Japanese, Italian, and German descent to internment camps during World War II."

exactly. and besides GreenGene, the Government knows how many people are in your house by your IRS tax form you fill out every year.

this is just ANOTHER example of Government trying to tax us without representation. making up taxes to rob us blind.

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

Actually, no, they don't. Not every person residing in this house is included on my tax return. However, every person residing in this house was included on our completed and mailed census form. But nice try.

Meanwhile....
Some Republicans are worried that an anti-government surge among conservatives will lead to lower participation in the U.S. census, which they fear could reduce the number of Republican seats in Congress and state legislatures.

Ah, if only that were to happen, it would be such sweet poetic justice.

If everyone in your house is YOURS, they should be on your IRS tax returns. irregardeless of that, everybody is accounted for unless you or somebody in your household a tax cheat like Tim Geithner.

nice try. you lose again.

the Census is just another way to tax us. why the fines for
non-compliance then?

If I'm not mistaken isn't the electoral map weighted based on the census? If you live in a red state, I certainly have no complaints about your failure to fill out the census.

PS, I believe the penalty is a censustaker comes to your residence and asks you the questions directly.
