The "right thing" was for Hannity's show never to have been featured at all. Wayyyyyyy too incestrious a relationship between FOX and the Tea Party movement. This was simply a matter of it becoming so blatant that FOX executives had to do something to correct the situation.

Fox is and has been simply capitalizing on the fact that none of the other networks are giving the movement any real coverage.

If you think that Fox has an "incestrious" [sic] relationship with the Tea Party movement, then blame CNN, MSNBC, et al. If they'd respected the movement enough to cover it properly and not belittle it, Fox wouldn't have had the opportunity to monopolize coverage of it.

They can't even get 10,000 people, Opening a Trader Joe's would get a bigger crowd. Why would anyone cover it

Ah, yeah - right.
That's like the abusive husband saying "She MADE me do it. It was HER fault because she made me MAD".

FOX is responsible for what FOX does - nobody else.
So much for mantra of "Personal Responsibility". As usual it's only "Personal Responsibility" when it's somebody else who commits the offense.

Cincinnati Enquirer cites Media Matters ' work publicizing ethical implications of planned Hannity event | Media Matters for America
"Criticism that the Tea Party and Hannity were trying to make a profit from the event began bouncing around on blogs, including the media blog Media Matters, about two days prior to Thursday's rally at the University of Cincinnati's Fifth Third Bank Arena."

10,000 people? You are talking about 10,000 people? not 1,000 people - 10,000 people?

Take note - coffee party in Tennessee (http://www.bnd.com/2010/04/11/1211071/first-coffee-party-meeting-draws.html - broken link) - 7 people

Coffee party strategy meeting in Houston - 8 people

Tea parties seem to be the aggressor now. Enemies in the government and media are trying to slow them down - but it's not working yet.
