No one should be surprised this "fish story" has been so eagerly swallowed by the GOP. These is the same party who continued to believe in WMDs too.

Huh? The clip starts with a song:

"Patriots have come to town to save the Constitution, take away our liberty and bring a revolution..."

Freudian slip?

I noticed that too. To be fair, I'm sure this amateur songwriter was saying, "If you take away our liberty, we will bring a revolution."

Of course, you could be right. Applying logic to this particular group is much like nailing jello to a wall.

Yeah, you're probably right. Song lyrics shouldn't require one to interpret what the writer meant to say. She shouldn't give up her day job. (I'm not at all scared of her starting a revolution. Poor woman.)

We've been in far worse shape than this. It'll pass, like all fads do.

Obama won't just outright ban fishing. No, he's way too smart for that and fears the backlash. What he'll do is work with Planned Parenthood and offer free abortions to all fish. Once that starts there won't be any fish left to fish.

Then he'll go after wild game. Moose will be all over that deal.
