Looking at Obama in the primaries, I was shocked that the dems chose Obama over Hillary. Sure, Bill and Hillary are lefties, but they are not insane and have shown some ability to listen to the citizens of the US as well as moderate republicans. You chose a nut job who holds contempt for the average citizen and complete disregard for any thought process that does not support marxist doctrine. Such a "leader" will, of course, divide the nation and implement policy not consistent with the will of the nation- witness Obama.

Dems, what the hell were you thinking?

I have always said that I wanted Hillary to win. I have no idea why people like Obama either. When it came down to the election, there were two idiots so we were screwed either way.

Obviously you say that now. I'd bet the ranch you'd have said the same thing about Hilary had she won the nomination and the presidency. Elbaorate how their politics are different and how she'd be doing things better than Obama is...

Hillary struggled to get her campaign on track and deliver a consistent message until it was too late.

McCain showed he could not even effectively manage a campaign, much less a country.

Obama establshed a consistent and focused campaign that has been heralded as the best in modern history.

He is now governing the exact way he said he would - which is slightly left of center. All of the assertions you make are simply your opinion and conjecture. I'm very centrist and have been pretty impressed so far. It'll take time, as it did with Reagan, but everything seems to be right on track for recovery and emergence into a viable nation for the 21st century.

I voted for Hilary in the primaries. I remain disappointed that she did not get the nomination - but I tend to move on (feel free to join me - I felt the same way when Kerry lost to Bush - but I continued to have respect for the President of my country and did not resort to elementary schoolyard name calling).

Obama and his team ran a better campaign. Hiliary simply assumed the job was hers and that pissed some people off. Also, she under-estimated the ground swell of support that Obama would generate. I think, however, that she is doing a fine job in her role of Secretary of State and I acknowledge her good grace in accepting her defeat.

No, I said it from the beginning. I never wanted Obama to win. Regardless, I do agree it really would not matter who is President, even if McCain would have won. The damage was done long before.

Bill and Hillary, lefties, and Obama a nut job who supports Marxism? Geez, any right-wingers left even remotely sane and rational?

LVD, I was addressing the OP.
Personally my preference went
1. Richardson
2. Biden
3. Obama
But why do you feel there is a vast descrepency between O and Hillary? What would Hillary have done differently in this time span?

We wanted change and not more of the same. Hillary was more of the same. Obama was change. Change is what we wanted.
