What do you think about Obama's $35,000 to $50,000 week's vacation in these troubled times?

What message does it give?

If you have the money to spend, spend it. I remember a previous administration that thought that was the patriotic thing to do in times of trouble.

What's with some Republicans hating capitalism? It's very strange.

Also vacationing in that bastion of the liberal elite - Martha's Vineyard.

It says exactly what he is - out of touch with the average American.

It sends the message that they can afford to pay for a week long vacation and people with too much time and to little to say will start a thread about it.

Very strange. When it comes to attacking the president, they want their cake and eat it too. I rarely go into some of the more ridiculous anti-Obama topics. My post count is in the way down because there are so many of these petty threads.

It gives the message that if you work hard , get an education, then work harder you become successful.

If you're successful and become president you can take vacations AS ALL OTHER PRESIDENTS HAVE DONE INCLUDING GEORGE BUSH WHO TOOK THE MOST WHILE THE ECONOMY WAS GOING INTO THE TOILET.

What do you think of corporate executives making more in an hour than some hard working Americans make all year ?
What do you think of company executives getting %400-%500 more than the average American worker when just a few years ago it was %30-%40 and the average American was doing well.

I wonder how close Obama's rented place is to the Bush compound, owned since 1903, near Kennebunkport.
