Dems had to "compromise" by grudgingly allowing regulations on risky derivatives. Shows you who they're looking out for. Also, no checks/balances on Fannie or Freddie. But, then again, I'm sure they can regulate themselves, no?

Is there a reason why you started 2 threads on the exact same item? http://www.city-data.com/forum/polit...st-middle.html

Typical. No wonder I've become so much more bitterly partisan over the last 10 years. Buncha do-nothings. Well, unless you consider destroying our economy, costing Americans millions of jobs in the process; involving us in 2 long-term wars and working hard to destroy our planet in the process. I guess that's something.
