Congresspersons are grossly underpaid. If you got the same compensation per unit of difficulty, challenge, and responsibility that they do, your annual salary would be like $4.60.
What BS saggy! Do not make it sound like these Congresspeople are slaves. They fly around in private jets on our dime, wine and dine on the Government AMEX and take vacations 3 times a year.

I have a choice of whether or not to purchase whatever is being hawked on commercials. Last time I checked, Pepsi wasn't able to reach into every working American's paycheck to extract it's operational expenses.
Some of them are probably making a lot more than they ever would had they remained in the private sector.
How many of these people come into office as upper or middle class, and leave office as millionaires? Some of these fools own so many homes and rental properties that they cannot even seem to list them all on their tax returns.
