And yet, during the Medieval Warming Period, populations exploded, the weather was benign, food was plentiful and people no longer needed to struggle just to survive, and science, the arts and productivity all accelerated at unprecedented levels all over the planet.
Why can't people just look to the warmer climate in the past, instead of creating horrible predictions of what might be? Oh yeah, I know, because they stand to make trillions of dollars off of global warming and carbon trading.
