Market under Republican Congress
UP 372%

Market since Democrats took over Congress
DOWN 42.05% (when chart created), but even if you take it up to todays current DJIA, 9,847

Interesting that you're so happy about all this. You must not have any investments!

Because they would much rather......blame Bush for anything that doesn't bode well for them or BO.
Keep blaming someone else.....even if its for the next 20 years.
BO can do NO wrong, remember?
He walks on water with his "caring eyes" and face of "hope."
HE is the ONE.....that brought us change, we can do without.

Didn't you already do that in March 2009 when the Dow dropped to 6500?

I mentioned SRS multiple times in other threads, now up to the low 30's. You can always make money in the market, up or down.

I would be delighted if it fell all the way to 5000

Then I could come back in with cash and make some real money

If you are invested in good companies that make stuff that hurts you when it falls on your foot then you have nothing to worry about. The values will come back.

SRS and SCC are building up a larger cash stockpile for me when I return to the long positions, preferably oil. Gold is creeping up slowly but I never rely on it for substantial gains. I'm also bullish on UltraShort 7-10 year Treasury ETFs in the next couple of days.
