I didn't suggest that, I'm referring to the people who wouldn't want a nuclear plant built, period. There's a nuke plant not far from where I live that filed some kind of papers to explore the possibility of adding another reactor starting 10 years down the road (probably so they could get the jump on all the legal wrangling) and the opposition was already in court fighting it using the argument it was ten years down the road.

My problem is this, they'll add this tax which gets added to all the other hidden taxes that have been added, then another , then another... then they'll never repeal it.

I still pay an emergency tax on liquor sales they enacted in 1926. LOL

I didnt know that, about the Johnstown tax (nor even that there had been a 1936 flood. There's a great documentary about the 1889 flood, a short. I think they show it at the Flood museum). But I agree about the taxes.... never heard of one being rescinded.

Tax breaks, tax credits and tax refunds have ends but taxes live forever.

I am not getting this maybe someone can help me out.Now the oil companies are going to be taxed 32 cents PB and they are so nice that they are only going to charge us a penny.I find that hard to believe that they would absorb 31 cents PB and hurt their profit margins?
