Dade City and Zephyrhills are both full of hicks. Don't recall which is Pasco and which is Hernando, but I stay away from both. Nothing wrong with being a redneck, but a hick is another thing altogether.

It is classless - soldiers represent the US and this reflects on all of us - the best way to deal with this behavior is to publically repremand him we do not need highschool antics in our military nor allow our enimies to use such immaturity as fuel for propaganda - it is hard enough to show the the true lies they spread - we do not need to waste more energy cover our asses.

I watched a small group of Marines during the Vietnam war make up a cardboard sign that said "Rally for Calley" and they had some Vietnamese peasants hold it up and took a picture. Of course the Vietnamese didn't know what it said. The Marines bragged that they sent it in to the Stars and Stripes.
I was only 18 at the time, and didn't say anything because I was a typical Marine, but in retrospect, it was not my proudest moment.

I went to the war museum in Hanoi in 2004, and they have the worst 1960s version of photoshopped pics of US troops holding up signs in horrific english stating they support the Viet Cong and the NVA.

Shrug the marine is an idiot but quite honestly no harm no foul.
I can think of quite a few worse things he could have done.
He should get some serious extra duty out of the deal but nothing else. Its not like the afghany was actually harmed.

What are you talking about? Of course you don't have to be logged in to see a wall post. You even see the "add as a friend" icon at the top of the page.
