"a few thousand"
Over 8,000 showed up in the middle of the Nevada desert a few months ago, for an event centered around ousting a candidate that less than 1% of the population is eligible to vote for/against.

"overweight, privileged baby-boomers"
I'm not privileged, and I'm not a baby boomer. I made $18k last year, and I was born in '71. You got me on the overweight part, though - I could stand to lose about 20 lbs.

"Most fo [sic] them wouldn't survive a day, if they actually had to subsist by their own means."
I survive 100% "by my own means." I'm self employed, have no debt other than a car payment and pay for everything else in cash. Unless you're talking about a hunter-gatherer existence, I'm the poster child for "subsisting by my own means."

"What an ironic joke."
Yes, some people *cough*cough* posting in this thread certainly are.

You've done an EXCELLENT job of not thinking for yourself, and swallowing the left wing smear bait hook, line and sinker. You so obviously have no idea of what the Tea Party movement is actually about, it's genuinely hilarious. You're a pawn, and are doing a damn good job of it.

are you sure it is just $200 trillion per quarter? I heard it was $5 quadrillion.

a quadrillion here, a quadrillion there, pretty sure you're talking a quintillion.

Tea Baggers are just whiners.
They offer no solutions..just complaints.
If I heard an original from the Tea Baggers, I would be surprised, bordering on shocked.
I would also call the National Wildlife Service as the idea would almost certainly be an endangered species.

$800 trillion a year? In what currency?? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/3e/Zimbabwe_%24100_trillion_2009_Obverse.jpg/250px-Zimbabwe_%24100_trillion_2009_Obverse.jpg (broken link)

As to F&F, I have seen a few threads concerning them, and everyone is more concerned with arguing about interracial marriage, DADT and other threads on race and gays.

I've heard Michael Savage and Sean Hannity rip Barny Frank to pieces over his involvement with Fanny and Freddy and how they're hemorraghing money. There's two far right conservatives definitely out to take down Fanny and Freddy, and Barny Frank with them. But you are right that the Tea Party folks don't have that on their front burner.

As I said earlier, I'm not a tea bagger (too old for sex anyway), but I believe their solution is similar to mine: leave me the hell alone and stop trying to fleece my ass. If I didn't have to pay for your BS, my meager wage would be MORE than enough to live on.

Clear enough of a solution for you? The solution is freedom.

I think you are right on one account though, freedom is definitely an endangered species. In fact, I think it's extinct, thanks to a generation's worth of brainwashing by the 'education' system.

I never pay any attention to my gross pay. I only count the Net.
