Whoops looks like our biased approach to Israel might cost us yet another ally.

Left there? The Palestinians were there before the Jews in 1948?
BTW, both Jews and Palestinians are descendent's of the Canaanites. History tells us that the Hebrews left the land for Egypt while the Canaanites stayed. Therefore, the land belongs to the Palestinians.
Jews have been in the region since ..........the roman empire. Even in the 1800's Jerusulam's population was more the 60% Jews.
There was and is no Palestine. It's a geographic region, nothing more.
The area hasn't been under rule of arabs in almost 1000 years.
Wrong. While it may be a little known fact around here, but Palestine's recent history isn't just about a geographical region (unless a administrative region recognized by other nations can be synonymous with a geographical region). In the 20th century, the British Mandate for Palestine defined such a region, for governance in 1917 (I think) and internationally recognized by 1922. There was no Israel at the time, however.

THere was not one, but TWO Jewish nations, Israel and Judah that has existed in the past. There has been ZERO Arab/ Arab/Muslim state there ever. There were brief periods of rule in an arab caliphate. There was never any Palestinian nation state, and then THe Ottomans took over, and then when they lost WW1, the British took over.
There has NEVER been a Palestinian nation before. And lets' not forget that the Palestinian Mandate that the British got originally included what is now Jordan, but the British installed the Hashemites into power and it became known as Transjordan, then Jordan.

The Balfour Declaration supported the establishment of a Jewish National Home in the region.
Regardless of ancient historical facts, there was a border agreement signed in 1967 (or 68?), there is no question that Israel has built and enforced their governing far beyond those borders.
