That means 50% currently disapprove of the job he's doing. Not good numbers for an incumbent, if the election were held today.

But compared to other president's approval ratings in times of recession, he is doing very good.

It might be close, but if the opposing parties can't find a viable candidate, it ain't happening.

I think "37" is the oldest I've ever heard anyone apply "I'm only" to, though.

/rant -- carry on.

On the topic of Presidents and Obama losing, if I was 50 or even 70 I might remember how much of a screw up Carter had to be to lose his re election. I apologize to you since at my advanced age I should know everything about the U.S Presidential history. Obviously you care about my lack of intelligence at my age which is nice. So now that I validated you're useless post on the topic I believe you should give me a rep point.

The rep thing was kind of a joke I thought it was a cheap way to get one, as for my age even though I'm 37 my maturity level is about that of a 12 year olds same with my intelligence. You're alright, rip me whenever necessary.

IMO, most 37 year olds still view themselves in their early 20's. Enjoy it, as the average healthy individual does not start to feel the number that they actually are, until around age 50.
