We should have a light-hearted political game in this forum, for instance, a complete the sentence:

"You just know _____________________________."

When you don't really know something but you want to put down a group, so you project what the group would do in some hypothetical situation, and then use what you've posited as if it were fact.

Here, I'll start.

"You just know that the lefties would be all over this if Bush were still President."
