Frame vs CBSvs brick
I learned that CBS houses have wooden inside frame to attach the sheetrock. Too bad the CBS houses do not have metal studs, even better the CBS houses should have insulation in the air cavity inside of the cinder block. HAVING made numerous trips to Home Depot, etc, I have learned there are cinder blocks and cinder blocks. Ever wonder which ones you have in your house. What is the fasination with CBS rather than Brick?

Insurance costs
Realizing all homes are different but wondering what ballpark insurance costs are at for homes including storm or wind damage for a home 100.000 - 150000 for both frame stucco and concrete block, shutters and no shutters Port St lucie area?Thanks so much!

you really need to call an agent and get a quote ... rates differ for age of home, type of roof, CBS or frame . Distance to water etc ....

Home Insurance-Home Inspections in PSL
We have found a few houses we like, now I have to get insurance quotes. Would someone Direct Message me with a recommendation also for a house inspector. One house is brick and the other foam filled CBS and would love to know the comparable cost differences.

95% of the houses are CBS especially if they have been built in the last 15 years. One other thing you need to know is that a Hip roof (kinda looks like a pyrimid) is cheaper to insure than a gabled end roof. Mercedes built several homes in the area that have had big issues. I think they are out of the market now. One thing about Florida is that it is covered with sand and it settles. If the house is not constructed properly the floors will crack. Even if the house is built perfectly it will settle and you will hear creaks and cracking noises for a couple of years. Just inspect the stucco for hairline cracks and take care of them because moisture will get in and cause a big problem.
