My family and I are looking to move south and one of the towns that really caught our eye was Stuart and we came across The Crossings at Indian Run. Does anyone know anything about this place? Is it in a safe area? I couldn't find any helpful reviews online but it looks pretty nice. I used to live in Palm Coast and Ormond Beach but I've never been any farther south than that and I want to find a nice, family-oriented area with good schools for our 2 year old when the time comes. Does anyone have any other suggestions in this area? We need to stay within (reasonable) driving distance of West Palm Beach, where I'll be attending school. Our price limit for rent would be probably no more than $900-$1000 a month. Any kind of help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

All I know is that it's income restricted ( you can't make over a certain amount ) . I have driven thru there ( when looking at places for my daughter) and it appears ok. Talked with someone I know who has a friend that lives there and they say it's safe but there are often people just hanging out by the cars ...we also saw some people hanging around the couple of times we drove thru ....
