Did you not notice all the overgrown lawns, empty houses, etc. Even when I send out a list of homes I do NOT include Newport Isles in it.
I second that !
When we lived in PSL, we've seen how Gatlin area (Wal-Mart area) changed, after Newport was build.
Let me put it this way....after dark, I stopped going to Wal-Mart on Gatlin ! (Rather drove to PSL West)

I know though, that TONS of homes for sale and/ or rent are available in there.....at incredible reasonable prices.
I am sure, if you are going to the police station on Rosser, and get some info, you will find that there are other, more desirable areas, are available in PSL.

Might be. There are 4 or 5 homes in the area kind of like it but none as tall. My guess is that the top of the roof is about 50 ft off the ground.

I like those posts from 2008 saying the market has bottomed.
It is nearly 2011 and the market is not yet at bottom.
There are more foreclosures than the backs can release.
If they let all of the foreclosures out, the real estate market in Florida would implode.
You could buy property for the change in your pocket.
You can almost do that now.

Well, truth be told the really good bargains are often snatched up really really quickly in PSL. Somebody is buying, just don't know who!
