I just took a trip to PSL and noticed there were several cop cars in almost every sub division.......all sitting in driveways.........Never in my life have I seen so many cop cars doing nothing......most were PSL sherriff cars. Does PSL have that kind of money for all those cops.....it was really shocking!

Well think of it....... we have police 24/7. That means that they take shifts. That means that some times they sleep...therefore you see the cars parked in the driveway.

You have the PSL police dept and the Sheriffs dept. You also have to know that PSL is a LARGE area and some of the cars you see are NOT PSL cops.. but from Jupiter and surrounding areas! They live here because it's cheaper than living in Palm Beach County but are still within the distance for them to live in and still report for work.

WHY would you think that is "shocking" anyway??? I think, and so do others, it's great! We have next to no crime!

I'm surprised you took "a trip" back to PSL after your past experience with needles on our beaches Valentina.Perhaps you should find another place to vacation.PSL isn't for everyone.

You know when I see posts like this I try to consider one of two things. One is the amount of posts a person has and their reputation. If they are less than 10 I assume one of two other things. Either they have worn out their welcome as their previous "Persona" or they are a plant by the website to stir up conversation.

About every day I see "New members" posting outrageous things like this and I try very hard to ignore them. Sometimes I can't resist commenting back because I am that kind of person but I do try to consider the source which is what we all need to do in this case.

You guys are funny ( Steve & FlaLady), but not really true about the reputation being in 10 or less, i'm new on here at the forums and one of the reasons i sign up for this is because i am new here in PSL and i would like to now much better this town, cause i dont now to people around here, and i like to read some others post and what the people think about so many things , but if is not really necesary i don't post nothing, but doesnt mean i worn out or i am a plant. But at the same it's so nice so many people has so much to say.
Regarding the cops here, near by were i live i have 3 cops, and feel really ok with it, it makes me feel more safe, and it's true there is more police on the streets, but what i heard is the restrictions here there more stronger than others counties. So becareful and tnot to break the rules here

We all started somewhere, meaning right here at City-Data. We do draw in alot of internet traffic from the search engines. Try to remember your first ten posts, weird, huh?

About the police cars, yeah, I noticed the same while down in PSL and even right here in Brevard County, lots of police either parked or moving. I don't recall abundance of police in the panhandle but then everyone one either owns a pit bull or a gun or both.

Well what I am talking about is the sudden beginners (we were all one once) that come on and in their first few posts say this stuff and never post again. My neighborhood is full of cop cars. I like that.
