Traveling to Maine from NY with 3 kids under 12 for a hockey tournament. We will have a few free days and are looking to experience Maine. Staying in Portland, games in Saco, Portland and Falmouth. Old Orchard? Scarborough? Thanks!

Something to be aware of.... We visited last year the first week of August. The water temperature had hit a seasonal high of 64 degrees. Now that's damn cold. Even young kids weren't in the water. But the beach was nice and the sun felt good.
