Wallace Park is on 25th and Pettygrove that used to be busy. PSU had a basketball court behind their gym but it was pretty dead. Under the Morrison Bridge used to have a court but it was hard to find people you would want to play with. Plus we used to have to do a needles-on-the-court check before playing.

If you can cross the bridge, Col Summers is on 15th and Belmont, just straight across on Morrison. They are busy most of the time. Another is on 25th and Division, right across from Cleveland High School. Otherwise 39th and Stark is Laurelhurst Park and they always have people.

There are some courts at the north end of the North Park Blocks, in the block bounded by Flanders, 8th, Glisan and Park.

try this link:
Portland Parks & Recreation :: Find A Park

check mark Basketball court (outdoor) and do a search.

should come up with a map and lots of hits.

Hotel Lucia, walk one block west to Park street, then north on Park street about 6 blocks to NE Everett
There should be one there, I said SHOULD be.
Portland Parks & Recreation :: North Park Blocks

But do check out the Elephant art work, good statue,

Phil

We play outside! Covered play areas are for little kids.
