Can anyone identify this neighborhood? I copied the picture from another thread, thanks to who ever photographed it (I just want to know where it is!).

It's in the West Hills of Portland. The sign says NW Melinda Ave. You can Google that and see the exact location.

I did that just for fun, so here's a link to that exact spot.

Also, I could be wrong about this but that photograph looks to me like a fairly manipulated HDR shot. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that or making an aesthetic judgment, but just don't be disappointed if you try to figure out in what kind of weather at what time of day that corner actually looks that way in person...because there's a chance the answer is "never." I really like the photo though!

That is in the Hillside neighborhood. I dated a kid in the first house on the right when I was in high school.

I recognize the blue house on the right. It's a beautiful neighborhood. Sometimes when my friends and I just want to take a nice ride on a pleasant day, we head in that direction.

khyron, you are absolutely correct on both counts - the exact spot and HDR processing.

I'm happy to see positive comments about my photo. Thank you all!
