Is there a central resource anywhere online that shows what touring bands are coming, when, where, etc? I realize that the venues post their upcoming events on their own sites, I just wondered if it was all available in digest form somewhere.

If you like jazz, there is a Jazz Society of Oregon calendar that is always updated. Also, somewhere there is a list of singer-songwriter open mics.

The Portland Mercury is probably the best, in general. It's a free paper covering the music scene.

There is a bunch of good jazz tonight - bands are playing at The Mission Theater and Ivories Jazz Club, and there's also an interesting film/music event at the Hollywood Theater.

This one comes close to the original request: Portland Oregon music listings

For blues, there's the Cascade Blues Association calendar: CBA Calendar

And here's that Jazz Society of Oregon calendar: Calendar - Jazz Society of Oregon
