Got my rejection letter today. But I've already applied for a better job. I'm not giving up!

It sounds like you have the right attitude! My husband once got a rejection letter from a huge tech company (you all know the name). He hung it on the fridge, and used it to motivate him. He ended-up getting a much better job. You can do it doggiemama!

Sorry to hear youre still looking and also about your letter. Its tough out here but hang in there. You are a testament to the fact no one just moves here and magically finds a job and it can take months before one can be found. Its always good to be prepared and do your homework! Good luck to you

Thank you, Daisy & turquoise! I decided to start posting my job search "ticker" on here just as an educational bit to show how tough it is. I have 2 master's degrees and it is still slow going.

I feel your pain. I have two college degrees and also had a tough time back in 2004 when I was looking for work. I had been laid off by my previous company. Here's a bit of encouragement. One company turned me down twice but a word from a friend who was working there got me in on the third try. You never know what's going to happen in the job market. You just gotta hang in there!

It will happen!

I know how you feel too. When I was off, I applied for over 300 jobs. Went to a good two dozen interviews. One job I really wanted ended up not happening, which was good as I got hired for temp work two weeks later, which turned into the job I'm at now. Which is 100% better then the job I had wanted.
