We are coming to visit on 25-30, what is a good hotel to stay at near the airport? no more than 30 minutes. Safe area, no more than 100 a night

I don't know how much it is, but there's an Aloft that isn't too far.

Pretty much anywhere in central Portland is 30 minutes or less to the airport. What are you coming for and what would you like to do while you're here? If you are coming as a tourist, then try to find a hotel downtown in your price range. Lots of options in a 30 minute range.

That is at Cascade Station, a shopping center; there is also a Hyatt and a Residence Inn. Cascade Station is clean, is basically AT the airport, has some shopping and restaurants.

However, one could stay in almost anywhere in the city if 30 minutes is the limit. Staying downtown would be more of an experience.

If we stay downtown, how hard is it to get in and out and is parking a painModerator cut: crude.

We are coming for sight seeing and a quick visit to the Tri-city area of WA. to visit my sister. But mostly sight seeing.

Try here. They have parking and is close to everything downtown. It's easy to get in and out in downtown Portland unless it's rush hour.
