I'm looking for an apartment in the southern SW Barbur Blvd or
Multomah Village/Hillsdale area (zip code 97219).
I want to be near the #12 and/or #48 buses.
Is this generally a safe area?

Check the address at PortlandMaps, and you can look at the specific crime statistics.

My wife's posting was in Multnomah Village until last summer when they closed Sears Hall. It's a pretty nice area.

Ahh... Fort Multnomah Village, I know it well. First bastion of defense to keep the Native Tuality Tribes from invading the land of the West Hills.

Thank your wife for her service and great personal sacrifice to our great city-state!
