I have been here for a week to buy a house. My first time in the area, and I am so excited to be moving here! The weather was fabulous last Monday and today. The weather in between wasn't bad. Was that "typical" Portland spring weather?

We didn't get to sight see at all. I can't wait to get here to live and really explore all Portland has to offer! I've been lurking on here, seeing what suggestions you all have provided for things to see & do.

Not really. This is abnormal, about once every 3-5 years. Usually those rainy days are a bit more typical.

No, not typical Spring weather at all. We have had a really dry and warm spring so far. Its usually pretty rainy until late May, mid June

According to the latest forcast I just saw, up until the weekend it will be in the mid fifties and rainy. The weekend is predicted to be warmer and drier. The following week should be rainy again. But we all know how quickly the weather can change its mind.
