Haha, I was working in my home office last night, had the window open and at around 10:30 I heard shouts and screams and cheers from down the street. They must have won! was my first thought, and I looked quickly to see. They did! What a finish!

I was in a Texas Turbo Tournament and half the players missed the shot and had given up. It was something to see.

Well, Game 1 of Round 2 did not go well.

San Antonio was on fire. The Blazers melted. Although they did look better in the second half at least, so maybe we're on an upswing!

They really couldn't get their footing that first half, lets hope they don't have any more games like that one. If they played the first half like the second half, that would have been a game that came down to the last second.

San Antonio has more experience and smarts than Houston(who was sort of a disorganized team) and they can play defense. They just killed us with those pick and rolls--they need to get physical and tough with Tony Parker though or he'll just eat us alive. San Antonio knows they're dealing with a young team so they'll try to break Portland's confidence early(Lillard looked shellshocked last night). Batum and Lillard better show up next game.

Yeah they were feeling a lot of nerves. They should come out much stronger in tomorrows game 2, and we'll be able to move past what happened in game 1.

Well put. Couldn't agree more. In a 7 game series Portlands pretty SOL against an experienced team like San Antonio, unfortunately. Not to say they can't or won't win, but the match up isn't at all in their favor on just about every level.

Regardless, go Blazers? GO BLAZERS!
