Did Tech just dried up or what. I cam hear in 1992 there were plenty of jobs for a technician (I think part of the problem was rely mostly on electronic manufacturing not start up and research and development). From 2005-2015 I was getting call for Intel contingent work, then it dropped off. I only mange to get a 4 month follow by a 9 month temp gig. I sick of on again off again unemployment.

I wonder is any better for hardware engineers?
I is me or tech is over in Portland execpt for a few like Lam Research.
