I have aquired a 50 ford buisness cpe origanally from the portland area
that was orange uder two coats of tan does anyone remember the old
ford being used as some sort of fleet cars i am in VA the car was sold to someone in CA in 83-84

Does it look like it had a spotlight or spotlights installed on it at one time? If it did, it might have belonged to a utility company such as Portland General Electric. I'm trying to think of who might have had orange cars. Since it's a business coupe it wouldn't have been a cab company.

It looks like Ford had a standard orange color in 1949:

It might have been available in 1950.

It does not appear to had spots I was thinking maybe a state or govt car
the car is in very good condition I did a title search in OR
and not too much info someone applied for a new title in 3-23-83
title lost and the title no was A1662934 the person birthdate was 1-10-44
and the tag was 4H4909 orange is not on the origanal color charts fpr 50
do you know of anyone who might be into old flathead fords they may be of some help
