Oh and I meant AFTER IUD- I really do know how to spell. Anyone had an experience with getting pregnant after having a Paraguard (copper) IUD?
I had two children and after the 2nd one I got an IUD. They can be worn for up to 10 years. I left mine in for 8.
Now I am remarried. I had it taken out in July and have been on the pills since then. The hubby and I are ready to start trying for a baby this fall. His first. We waited to make sure we could be stable financially. I did not want my to kids to sacrifice a thing.
I remember my OB/GYN mentioning that it may have an effect on my future fertility, but at the time I was not concerned because(like most women) I thought I would be married to my 1st husband forever and that it was ok if we quit at 2 children.
Although the new husband and I would be okay even if we can't get pregnant...we are really hopeful about having a little one. Please share your experiences. Thanks
