My question is WHY? The Bengals went 4-12 this year but Marvin should have been fired years ago, they almost fired Marvin but they changed their mind and decided to keep Marvin for another year, I feel sorry for the Bengal fans....

Marvin Lewis isn't the problem. Mike Brown and his incompetent daughter and son-in-law are the problem.

Marvin Lewis should have been fired a few years ago when a Bengal was arrested, it seemed, every other day.

My question is why would Marvin WANT to return anyway? That team is a mess and Mike Brown is not the best owner.

The Bengals may have had a disappointing season, but there is no doubting that Marvin Lewis has made an imprint on that organization. He brought them to their first playoff appearance in 2005 & another playoff appearance in the 2009 season. Firing isn't a good idea, because he brings an identity to that team. I think you need to give Lewis one more seasons to prove himself. If he can't then it should be over. But there is no doubt he made that team better when he came.

No way in heck should be still have a job.

Anyone else would have been fired 2 years ago.

He deserved to be fired period.

Horrible coach that has enough talent to make the playoffs and then some.

All those good drafts picks and a mix of vets they should easily be a 10-6 or better team.

Stupid move on Browns part.

The owner does not make the calls on the field, the coach does so stop blaming the owner for how the team sucks so bad.

Because the CBA expires in March and he will likely coach for the year after the labor stoppage, then get canned. You bring in the new boss after the strike.
