I surfed between two early games today; ATL-CHI and PIT-BAL, and I was surprised at the lopsided scores in both games.

There were FIVE lopsided scores in the early games today:
- Eagles 31 at Rams 13
- Bills 41 at Chiefs 7
- Falcons 12 at Bears 30
- Steelers 7 at Ravens 35
- Colts 7 at Texans 34

Hard to believe the losing teams are that bad, though the Colts lost Manning early in the game.
Prediction: The losing teams are THAT bad.

Chicago played well. It seems Denver give up a very good QB when they traded Cutler to the Bears.
Prediction: The Cutler-Orton trade will continue to be a bad deal for Denver.

Ray Lewis of the Ravens continues to be a ferocious player, even in his 16th season. Ravens forced SEVEN turnovers by the Steelers.
Prediction: Ray Lewis will have another fabulous season.
Prediction: Dan Rothlisberger is going to have very bad season....

In the Vikings - Chargers game, that opening kick runback for a 103-yard TD by the Vikings was a beautiful bit of running. Then on the next set of plays the tipped / intercepted pass from the Vikings' Donovan McNabb looked really bad and allowed the Chargers an easy score with a 3-play, 5-yard drive.
Prediction: Norv Turner will continue to be a "hard luck" coach no matter where he manages.

You think Bears will come to the stick and beat the 49ers?

Yes I do. The 49ers are an up and coming team. Finally with some decent coaching. But they're too young. I definitely see a division title for them this year, but I also see a loss in their first playoff game, even if it is at home.

Yes, nice job of winning their pillow fight.

Actually, I think they go 2-0, because Dallas is in a really tough spot having to travel to New York then across the country to San Francisco. I think Dallas' letdown potential is high, too, coming off that horrible loss.

Hopefully, they will beat Dallas. I want to know who is not playing for Dallas next though and who is hurt.

Dallas will go 7-9 or worse.

SF is 16-14-1 vs Dallas, one of the best rivalries in sports.

Hmmm, when I think of rivalries I think of the older teams that have been going on forever since the begginning. Newer rivalries are more fan based and on the number of times or things that happen when teams play for the division or championships.
