Retired linebacker’s wife dies one month after their wedding - Shutdown Corner - NFL*Blog - Yahoo! Sports

I really feel for this man's loss of his wife. Thoughts and prayers for you Mr. Draft.

Not just an inspiration, but a light, and a force that led the way with a beautiful, sweet smile and bright shining eyes that both belied the pure steel of her strength and determination.
Strong is too pale, too shallow and too small of a word to describe Keasha's vibrancy… Quite simply, she was ferocious. She fiercely held onto life, and love with a forcefulness that was absolutely awe-inspiring and completely breathtaking. Rest in peace, Mrs. Draft.

Very sad story. I wish someone could find a cure for this hideous disease. I knew people who fought lung cancer for years and others who dropped like a stone in just a weeks time.

Thanks for the story Buzzpost!

Thank you Double H. I really feel for this man and his family. His resolve to marry her as she was in a wheelchair was so moving.

Until people accept that there are other treatments available we will continue to read about these types of unnecessary deaths.

How sad for everyone involved.

I remember Chris from his days in Carolina. No complaints about his play or character. I'm sorry he is dealing with this loss. I had an uncle who died from lung cancer a few years ago. Makes me really mad seeing so many in Kentucky smoking those d&#@ cancer sticks knowing what lung cancer does.

My heart goes out to Chris and the family.

He really appears to be a genuinely decent person and I feel his pain.

You have to have an open mind and be willing to accept that you are responsible for your own health. Here are a few videos. Do not take my word for anything - Do your own investigation and make your own mind up.
