Associated Press: Caldwell is fired by Colts

I've followed the Colts since the Dungey era, but I never felt good about Caldwell as the HC. I for one, am glad to see this change.

I tend to think that was Polian's call, which points to another problem Caldwell had -- the inability to tell Polian to go eff himself.

It's not hard to understand the firing at all because the Colts lost a SB they should have won followed by a playoff loss to the Jets in the 1st round the following season and then this 2-14 season. So basically the franchise went backwards since losing the SB and this season was the nail in the coffin.
