You do realize that the Giants already have a designated thread, right?

I know that... but I do this EVERY year for each team that wins it all. (Read the title)

Packers: 2010
Saints: 2009

See?

Agreed! I'm good with the extra thread.

What I'll do is "sticky" this thread and drop the "sticky' on the other. And like I've done the last couple years, I'll keep the "sticky" on both the Giants and Patriots team threads for a few extra days for discussion.

Congratulations Giants! It was a close game but once again the Giants played very well in the 4th quarter and did what they needed to do.

Obviously, as a Giants fan, I think this is a great idea for a thread!

This duplicate thread in my opinion is not a good idea, why unsticky one official Giants thread and resticky this one, what's the point, this information can be said/posted on the other Big Blue thread, maybe I am missing something.

This was initiated before I started modding. Yes, there is another team thread. As I had mentioned in one of the "stickies'", team threads are set up for fans to discuss "team business", which can go from roster moves to free agent signings to injury reports to off field player incidents, etc., etc. The other thread suits that purpose.

This thread is simply set up for fans of this club or even fans of other clubs to offer a congratulatory note on the super bowl. Like I said, it was set up before I got here, and I'm good with it. I try to be somewhat accommodating on certain requests if I feel it is worthy.
