Two years ago New York Rangers hockey player Derek Stepan was blind-sided by a hit that broke his jaw and he was deemed "Out-Indefinitely"..... instead he sucked it up, came back the very next day and returned to the ice. Didn't miss one game.
But hey... you go right ahead Geno and put your feet up and collect that pay-check.

Geno will need the ability to verbally communicate with his teammates to call out audibles, protections, the cadence, etc. Having a broken jaw makes that pretty difficult.
