NFL playoffs are exciting but winning one game really doesn't prove who is the better team at all. #1 and #2 seeds only have to win two games? #1 seed only has to win two home games?
In baseball and basketball, they have to win a lot of games before the finals. A lot. I think fans could learn to deal with a longer, more comprehensive playoff procedure. Allow HGH so players can heal up better and faster. Shorter preseason too. Who cares about preseason?
I rather see the other sports follow the NFL schedule. Have one game a week. Have like a 20 game schedule.
He screws the fans that don't have cable. In the end, this will work against sports who follow this lead.
A lot of people are ditching cable.
The last I checked, Goodell doesn't work for the fans, he works for the owners. If you are trying to claim, that Goodell is losing money or the game is less popular, that would be incorrect. When Tags left, the NFL was about a 3 billion $ business....today it is roughly a 6 billion $ business
This year is highly unusual in that a good case may be made for the away team to win each of the games. I am predicting that the away teams win three of these four games. Away team for every game but the Bengals.

One thing I did hear when I was watching an ESPN ad for the Wild Card games this Saturday is that those games will be played on both ESPN and ABC. So, I'm thinking if you don't have ESPN, you can still watch the games.
