I kinda think with dak taking them so far and the chemistry they had thi may not be a good move even though its for last game.

Anyways both romo and sanchez are garbage and have a feeling eagles will win, i think dallas should have better back up qbs. Plus why is jerry soo determined to have romo start?

personally i dont care much about the eagles game. the cowboys have already won the division, and secured not only a first round bye, but home field advantage through out the playoffs. and since it is the last game of the regular season, why risk injury to your top quarterback?

as for better back ups, remember that kellen moore will be back next season, and he is an excellent back up QB. to that end make romo the emergency back up, and assistant quarterbacks coach, and let him educate prescott and moore, rather like he is doing now. that way he can retire a cowboy. i would however pick up one more quarterback, just in case.

The more rest the better. A lot of the starters should have been given the game off last week.

Romo is not garbage and I would like to see him play this weekend. I think if the Cowboys go to the Superbowl, he may retire, if he gets a few plays in.

I think it's better to just make sure you don't get injuries. Starters should play the first half IMO. Going from Christmas to MLK day without a game is just too long.

It's likely to be Romo.

I can see Romo playing well in a meaningless game against the Eagles and then being named the starter for the playoff game which would be a disaster.

Garbage quarterbacks don't hold all sorts of records for a storied NFL franchise.

Dak has proven himself a more than capable starting quarterback. He's in perfect form and he's been playing great. Missing one game will not affect him. Resting him the final game makes perfect sense. Why risk an injury? The same people criticizing now would be complaining that he wasn't benched if was to get injured.

I thought it was going to be Dak and Sanchez until this ESPN story came out yesterday.

no, romo will not be named a starter for a playoff game, that would be stupid. starting the eagles game though makes sense. why risk injury to the best quarterback dallas has had since staubach, and aikman?
