Default This sucks!!

I was hoping that he would come off innocent, but I didn't know he was intoxicated. All of the stories I read were silent on this fact. Oh well.

after reading the whole article on Fox News website, the victim was not in a crosswalk, and was trying to cross a very busy intersection to catch a bus. Stallworth flashed his lights to try to warn him...yes, he was over the limit (drunk) and there's no excuse for that. Most of us have been there.

But I have mixed feelings about this one...I mean, somebody just runs out in front of your car so you can't stop in time (at least that's what it sounds like)...that's a tough one to convict on. That could happen to any of us.

He'll plea out to some negligent homicide rap or something like that so that they can jutify the death but also account for the alcohol issue and the fact that the person was not crossing in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

While its by no means the greatest source for accurate citing of real law codes, you get the idea.

Stallworth was a little more than tipsy, he tested a 0.12 on a blood test which happened a couple hours after the fact. Heard he expressed remorse, not sure if it was for hitting the guy or (more likely) realizing he just blew his future and millions of dollars in an NFL career. Let alone a short stint in the pokey.

Do the crime, do the time. I understand it was not Stallworth's fault entirely, but he broke the law. I like the Browns and am sorry for this to have happened to them, but the law is the law and he was driving intoxicated.

Its funny to hear all the folks who want to judge and convict this guy as if they have never broken a law.

Listen the guy is wrong for being DUI thats obvious, and someone died, but I dont think they died because he was over the limit. There are many issues that contributed to this man not being here and Donte does bear some responsibility in this but he's not soley responsible.

That's true. Unfortunate but true.
