What up G? You should plan a trip up this way so we can watch the Bears lose their first round playoff game together. Nothing says love like a Viking and a Packer fan teaming up to wish ill will on the Bears! Besides, beer is good food...

Well, it looks like the Bears game will be played at the university:

Metrodome won't host Monday's Vikings-Bears game; officials turn to TCF Bank Stadium - TwinCities.com

Could be fun...

I can live with having the Packers fans watching the Bears play in the playoffs. It's how things should be.

Funny though, had someone said that the Bears would be leading the division 4 months ago we'd have all suggested immediate psychiatric help.

I can't help but wonder where the Vikes would be right now if they'd managed to land Cutler or Vick etc. We all agree that TJ isn't the long-term solution...it's shocking how badly run the Vikings are.

I thought football season was over?! Sounds fun dook, I'd be up for a winter drive to beautiful North Wisconsin (hopefully a Saturday). Tho I'd have to root for anyone over the dog-killer from Philly. DM me the details.

Is anyone going to Monday night's game? I'd like a first-hand account.

Oh no! The Vikings have lost T Jack for the season.

Minnesota Vikings place QB Tarvaris Jackson on IR, sign Patrick Ramsey - ESPN

Tarvaris' streak was approaching the greatest durability record in the history of sports (Jim Marshall's) but unfortunately has ended after an unfathomable one game. Just as he was coming into his own, an inability to perform a basic handoff has derailed his once promising career.

What will we do?

It will be fine once they dust off and oil up Ramsey.

Its going to be ugly tonight, at least it will be a return to outdoor football. We haven't been to the Super Bowl since we moved inside. It was a home field advantage. If and when we get a new stadium it should be outdoors!

A side note, I'm surprised at the number of players that only want to play for Southern teams because they 'hate cold weather'.

Gotta rep that for sheer funny.

I'd rather face iFavre than Webb. With Chilly and iFavre gone the Vikings are actually a threat with their defense and running back.

Looking back, I would love to know which Vikes guy kept playing farve last year instead of resting him....New Orleans definitely would send him a Christmas gift.
