The Bunn coffee maker is a very high quality 10-cup coffee maker. This wonderful machine makes more cups of coffee than traditional coffee makers on the market. The Bunn coffee maker brews a pot of coffee in less than half the time of any other coffee maker.

This coffee maker produces a fresh, hot pot of coffee in only three minutes verses the 4-8 minutes other coffee makers offer. Users do not have to wait extended amounts of time to enjoy coffee anytime of the day. The coffee maker accomplishes this by using two tanks: One tank fills with the water and the other is preheated. The preheated tank delivers to the spray head, which requires no heating time because of the preheating function.

One problem is that the tank preheats 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. There is the option to use the vacation switch. This switch connects to the tank heater and saves money when off. Be prepared for a 15-minute wait time if switching from brewing a cup of decaffeinated to caffeinated coffee. Because the machine only has one preheating tank, it takes 15 minutes to reheat the preheated tank before brewing again. This may pose a problem for those wanting a hot cup of coffee now. Also consider the extra energy usage if the tank heater stays on constantly.

The Bunn coffee maker is sturdy and safe to use. The coffee machine supports more water in the filter basket than most other coffee makers. The amount of water this coffee maker supports may collapse any other coffee filter. The Bunn coffee filters are strong, sturdy, and stand up. The user must use the Bunn coffee filters with this coffee pot. This is an added expense that needs considering before purchasing the coffee machine.

The heated base of the coffee pot keeps your coffee hot. The exposure to air may ruin the taste of the coffee if left sitting out. A good idea is to transport the coffee to a carafe or thermos immediately after brewing the pot of coffee.

Overall, the coffee maker is a good investment for individual use or use with users who all drink the same kind of coffee. Shaving 1- 4 minutes off the brewing time make this product worthwhile. This coffee maker is a reasonable investment for under $80. The product is in the same price range as other coffee makers of the same type. There is a 3 year limited warranty that comes with this coffee maker. Do not forget about the added investments with the filter and continuous energy use when considering this product.
