Now that I've been using a cordless iron for the last 2 years, I don't know how I lived without one. I'd never realized how much a cord gets in the way until I didn't have one. Now my kids and pets can run around and I don't have to constantly worry that they're going to pull my iron down and hurt themselves.
This model has really served me well. First of all, it heats up very quickly. I've got a lot to do on any given day and I simply don't have time to wait 15 minutes to get the iron heated - especially when I'm in a hurry in the morning. I will admit that I was a little nervous about the wireless aspect, simply because I knew that you had to put it back to re-heat every so often and I was worried that it would take a lot longer. But I've found that it stays really hot for several minutes. I get a piece of clothing ready to iron, iron it and then put the iron back on the base. By the time the next shirt or dress is laid out and ready to be ironed, it's been totally reheated.
The only issue I have is with the water reservoir. It holds a lot less water than I'm used to but it still seems to do quite a bit of steaming. I typically do a few pieces at a time, but on the days when I iron a whole basket's worth of clothing and linens, I do have to fill the water a few times. Overall it's not that big of an issue because it's detachable and it doesn't leak.
The price on this is great too. We end up paying about $50.00 after rebate but if I'd spent twice as much I'd still be happy with my purchase.
