Craftsman 6' Workbench Black #10138

I bought this workbench for my husand for Christmas last year. He was really excited and put it together with ease. If there was documentation about weight maximums I never saw it. The top of this bench is particle board and he and I both are afraid if we put some of his heavy wood working tools on it the bench may bow or even break. Unfortunately, for us this has become a catch all bench rather than a work bench. I must admit it looks good where it is. If you just wanted us to do small stuff that wasn't too heavy I think you'd be fine. I bought it for heavy stuff and it didn't work. We ended up buying this really ugly old metal bench.
