My friend recently sent me the link to a psychology blog he's been working on. It centers on how to understand people:

How to Understand People

For those of you people about/interested in psychology here:

What are some topics that are worth covering on a psychology blog? Which ones do you feel are most likely to attract readers? Are they those that center on personality or relationships?

Any tips and suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

The following web site pretty much covers it! You can see why people would want to visit that web site (rather than asking a friend or a doctor)...

If I were writing it I would begin by focusing on the study of personality. That will naturally lead into how people deal with their life decisions.

Personality type - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Of course it would be a little more studious than reflecting on desert island scenarios and may not draw as many readers.

I would also suggest topics like narcissism and introversion.

Relationships, dating and sexuality/sexology seems to be one of the most popular areas within psychology. Also grieving and loss.

Several years ago, I finally gave up trying to understand people and their behavior. So many times I've observed behavior and attitudes I cannot comprehend, that I just completely gave up. The bottom line, IMHO, is that most are just plain crazy.

Seems like the written equivalent of sound bites.
