What does "emotional reaction to thoughts" imply?
The 'presence' of (possible) threat/danger/harm. ((from a thought?))
Is there a empirical test for that? (that some thoughts are harmful?)
Is it self evident that (some) thoughts are hurtful?
My question is;- "Is 'believing' assumptive?" (note your answer)
Do we make an assumption(1), then assume(2) that our assumption(1) is true/correct without proof?
When both assumptions are false/erroneous/untrue; what do we get?
Needless emotional suffering experience of our own doing, 'unwittingly/unintentionally.

(Check for yourself; do you assume your assumptions are all/always true/correct?)

And when will you 'get it'? Answer the questions.
1. Is 'believing' assumptive?
2. Do you assume your assumptions are all/always true correct? (You sure act like that's what you do. Isn't it time you 'recognize' what your doing unwittingly?)

Your 'unconscious is in the dark'; are you still afraid of the 'dark'?

I get it just fine, thanks. Your threads can be a bit condescending when you seem to ask big questions and yet judge those you deem "get it" versus those you deem "do not get it."

Simply saying that multiple, repetitive threads seem to be the pattern here. A bit obsessive, in my opinion.

When you see SAMENESS, your playing the RORSCHACH PROJECTION game.

See? you still won't answer the questions.

Yeah...no. But thanks.

This could have simply been tacked on to one of your multiple other threads about the same topic.

Yes, your correct. But the other threads are so long, new readers may not read them to the end, I consider this thread my best one yet. That's why I set it apart.

You write, " Yeah..no. ". So what more do we have to say to each other.?
"The proof of the pudding". You 'won't even taste it', so what good is your opinion? (none at all) sorry you won't participate by considering/answering the questions. I'm not sure what your agenda is , but no matter. This conversation is getting no where.

This is one of the most mind-boggling threads I've seen in a while, but I don't spend much time in the Psychology section.

P.S. the contraction for "you are" is spelled you're, not your. Your is possessive, as in this is your weird thread. If you want to say something to someone telling them what they are, it should be y o u ' r e.
