The lights at my country club weren't as bright as I would have liked (while playing tennis tonight).

I made some sort of Asian flat noodles tonight, with a chili paste sauce. The noodles had to boil for five minutes and then be drained. So I did that and did a quick rinse of them like I do with spaghetti noodles or any other sort of pasta - with a dash of cold water.

For some weird reason, this short burst of cold water nearly completely cooled all the noodles instantly. I didn't realize this of course -they'd been boiling for five minutes. Then I put the hot chili paste sauce on them - this stuff is really hot.

So I had coldish noodles that still managed to burn my mouth off.

Totally unsatisfactory meal.

I'd rather have no cake than bad cake.

It's hard trying to pee with morning wood so I learned to step outside in the cold until the sumbitch hibernates then I go back inside and take care of bidness.

Uh, this is the point of this thread. To post our trivial first world problems.

Twice in the last month Publix baggers have forgotten to put an item in my bag. I get home which is 6 miles away only to find out they did this. Then I have to call customer service, retrieve my receipt out of the garbage bag and go back to the store.

Well, thanks to the ACA, I lost all my docs and had to pay cash to see her...but it went well otherwise.

Ack!
Twice in the last month, the doordash people (meal delivery) have forgotten one item in our order. Super lame. Got a refund, but didn't get the food we ordered.

I released the hounds but the hounds just ran around, peeing on bushes mostly.
