When you think about it, there are tons of things that affect sex drive and/or performance. Lack of sleep, spicy food, lack of exercise, stress, distractions, etc.. Life is life. Medication serves a useful purpose and has real benefits.

But no. If you are an adult it doesn't matter what is prescribed to you. You do not have to take it and you can seek a second opinion. You are responsible for what you put in your body.
