Best 12 step programs?

Hi Friends,

I know many of you go to 12 step programs ---in leu of not being able to find or put together a NG group.

I was going to a Men's Alanon group but they are far and few between.

What are some of the better ones you've attended and why

You might want to try and find an "open meeting" instead. Far more diversity, and far more input that closed groups don't always provide.

Open meetings or Speaker meetings is what I recommend.

If you are the religious type you can try Celebrate Recovery.
They pretty much cover all the bases..
